Ultimate Volcano Butter Brownies Using AVB

Vaporizer brownies are a staple of any self-respecting aficionado’s diet. This is a great, easy recipe for kick-ass brownies you can make with Already Vaped Bud or volcano vaporizer leftovers. It’s the classic “one-bowl” recipe that’s a snap to make from scratch. This beats box mixes!

Note: As with all AVB recipes, combine regular butter with your magic butter to arrive at the total the recipe calls for – depending on the strength of your butter. It’s very easy to eat way to much active ingredients without realizing it before it’s too late. Visit our AVB Calculator to make sure you’re using the right dosage of Already Vaped Bud.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 4 squares BAKER’S Unsweetened Baking Chocolate
  • 3/4 cup (1 to 1.5 sticks) AVB butter (see note above!)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped PLANTERS Pecans or nuts of choice

How to make AVB butter for cooking

If you’re new to the edibles game then AVB butter is one of the first things you’ll need to learn about. We have an article on what exactly Already Vaped Bud even is, but the short version is it’s leftover weed after you’ve used it to vape, that you can now still use for making edibles! Have you been throwing it out all this time? Don’t feel bad. But start making cannabis infused butter, olive oil, and coconut oil out of it and you’ll be all set to use it in the kitchen in some delicious recipes.

We have instructions for how to make cannabutter, cannabis infused olive oil, and weed infused coconut oil. And in order to make those, you’ll want to have an idea of just how much weed you’re putting in there.

Not all AVB has the same potency. It really depends on a number of different factors. Please exercise caution any time you try out a new ABV recipe because the potency of your butter/oil will determine the overall potency of your edibles.

How do you know how much weed is in edibles?

This is a very good question and definitely something to consider, especially the first time you try a new recipe or use a new strain of herb. We have an Edibles Dosage Calculator and also a guide on how to use it which will tell you how potent your edibles are going to be.

It’s easier to use than you think — you enter in what you have and we do the math for you!

Might be a dumb question, but whats the best way of measuring the leftovers I have. What’s an ounce of this dry stuff equal to?

I think you’ll need some type of scale. Density varies depending on how you packed it ground it, etc… Maybe approximately 1 dry cup = 1 ounce of weight? That’s a guess!

Using your butter recipe, how many brownies does it take for you to get baked? What size do you cut the brownies? I vape each bowl of herb at setting 6, usually 3 times. I used 10.5 grams in a 1.5 sticks of butter and used all that butter in your brownie recipe.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi ShyRooster: Too many variables to answer! The original potency of the herbs can have a big effect on the end product butter. Plus everyone reacts differently to eating depending on their metabolism, empty or full stomach, environment, etc…

I suggest cutting the brownies into 1.5″ squares and being your own guinea pig. Just make sure you have a few hours to sit on the couch if they work too well. Good luck!

Made a batch of these with jamie olivers recipe, using about 30g of vapourised green. Had 5 brownies to myself and got wayyyy too baked, these are quite strong…

RIE – We freeze our brownies all the time without any problems. They work just fine and can be eaten direct from the freezer since the butter keeps them from getting rock-hard frozen. Try and see!

So thought I would leave my story…

I take the vape all the way up to 7 most of the time so I put double the amount of leftovers as described in the recipe.

It took 3 3×3″ brownies to be baked all day which is a lot but i figured they wouldn’t be as potent. I made two batches of butter cause i had around 20g of leftovers, and my buddy said some butter on toast in the morning hit him hard.

Good recipe for brownies, very sweet and rich.

What happened to the brownies? They must have been real good because you haven’t come back
