Magma Industries Bag-To-Bong Adapter

Volcano Bag-to-Bong Adapter

Cottonmouth got you putting your Volcano down? Are you a seasoned Volcano user, but sometimes you have to take a break from the bag? We hear ya. While that delicious vapor is super tasty, after some time you start to feel those hits in your throat and lungs. That warm, dry heat can certainly do a number on you over time which is why we were stoked to get our hands on the new bag-to-bong adapter from Magma Industries. We took this sweet little device for a spin. Here’s what’s up…

What Is A Bong-to-Bag Adapter?

The bag-to-bong adapter from Magma Industries is a handy little device that connects your percolator of choice to your Volcano. Why? Because the vapor that is produced from your Volcano is hot and dry, and that repetitive vapor inhalation can irritate your throat and lungs. If you’ve been bagging it for a while then you’ve probably experienced this issue.

How Does It Work?

This bag adapter makes your Volcano active by reducing the temperature of the vapor up to 100F while increasing the humidity by up to 50% (as reported by the manufacturer)…making your Volcano more efficient than ever. Made out of the highest quality lab-grade borosilicate glass, each piece is hand-blown by master glass artisans and guaranteed to seamlessly connect to your Volcano bag.

What’s The Best Temperature?

Dealer’s choice! Magma Industries recommends starting at a lower temp – around 325F – and then working your way up to the desired temperature.

Steps For Use

Insert Your Magma Industries Bag Adapter Into Your Bong
Fill Volcano Bag As You Normally Would
Secure Volcano Bag To Bag Adapter
Inhale & Indulge!

Honestly, this is one of those devices that make you say, “Why didn’t I think of that?” It’s a small, simple, quality device that really makes a difference in our inhalation experience. The only little hiccup we experienced during use was the rubber o-ring slipping off of the adapter and getting stuck in the mouthpiece of the Volcano bag. However, we love the old school mouthfeel of the glass piece, how much more efficiently the Volcano performs with the adapter, and how it’s giving new life to some of our favorite old bongs!

Footnote: we were unable to independently verify these numbers. HOWEVER… anecdotally and from frequent use and experience we know that the perception of the water filtered vapor is that it’s both cooler and less dry than when taken directly from the bag. Precisely how much and by what factor? I don’t know.

Anyway I have one of these devices. Since you make the claim can you tell the conditions that the device humidified by 50%?

What temperature does my water need to be?

    What depth?

What setting does my volcano need to be at to achieve the results that you state in the review of the product you are selling?

You say 50%. How do I make sure? How did you make sure?

How did you come up with your temperature and humidity readings?

There is no thermometer or hygrometer built into the device. I have one infront of me.

How did you measure your 50% humidity increase? I would love to replicate your test.

Hey Ned, we didn’t measure specific values on the tests we did with this adapter, but it definitely made the experience much more cool and humid when we used it!

These numbers come from the information on the Magma Industries site.
